Hello. My name is Rachel. I’m 20 years old and I live near Plano. I am willing to drive up to three hours to provide transportation, which means that I can get anywhere in the DFW area. I can offer meals and lodging, and when I can, I will definitely provide financial support. I believe that Texas law requires two visits to a clinic, one for an ultrasound and the second for the procedure. My house has a guest bedroom, so you will be comfortable staying here if you need to, and have the support of my whole family, and even a dog (she’s hypoallergenic so no worries about allergies) to help calm any nerves. You are correct, there is a 24-hour waiting period after the state-mandated “counseling” written to dissuade patients from going through with the abortion. You can see more state policies on abortion at the Guttmacher Institute.
i am in the san antonio, TX area and i am available for transportation, support, company, and possibly financial assistance. i would love to offer child care as well. my baby is almost 1, and i have a few car seats to accommodate children up to 45 lbs.
i would need at least 1 week’s notice to make arrangements with work and my family.
